"As Far as Light Can Go" is a 4-track ambient instrumental album that represents a variety of reflections on life and the nature of experience.

Track 1, "Days of Invisible Years", is an interpretation of our tendency to look both forward and backward in time, and the ways in which discovery, loss, hope, and acceptance appear and transform in awareness. The ephemeral fabric of experience is part of something larger, with days embedded in moments, and years encoded in days.

Track 2, "As Far as Light Can Go", depicts a broad scale of perception, one that allows us to make sense of events by placing them in a larger context.

Our moment-to-moment mode of experience is required to function in the world, but it's easy to become stuck in near-sighted thinking and behavior when it's not presently necessary. More expansive types of awareness can sometimes serve us better than practical myopia by allowing us to see larger patterns and dynamics unfolding within and around us.

Track 3, "A History of Moments" depicts a return to the detailed tapestry of life, but our relationship to events has changed, transformed by perspectives gained. The good and bad, the light and dark coexist naturally now that we see a larger context that contains them.

Track 4, "After Endings and Beginnings" turns attention toward the unknown lying beyond our experience in every direction. Having seen understanding of the past transformed by growing awareness, what we thought we left behind is now part of the same frontier ever unfolding ahead of us. Uncertainty and possibility are two faces of the same aspect of life. What are our choices? How can we know?
